The life of a round
Every round moves through the same five stages, from the moment it opens to the points landing in the table.

1. Round opens
An admin loads the week's matches and sets a deadline. open

2. You predict
Submit (or edit) your scores before the deadline. Everyone's picks stay hidden. submitted

3. Round closes
At the deadline predictions lock and are revealed to all. AI fills in for anyone who didn't submit.

Live scores tick in as games are played, then lock once final. live ongoing

5. Points awarded
Scores are tallied automatically and the season standings update.
Rounds repeat week after week; points accumulate across the season until the best predictor takes the title.
Scoring
The admin sets the scoring mode per season. Most seasons use New scoring.

AI Mode — let the AI play for you
Not always free to submit? Pick an AI mode and predictions are auto-filled when the round closes.
Your own picks always take priority — submit anything manually and the AI stays out.

Plays it safe. Very safe.

Defender
Conservative. Expects tight, low-scoring games.
AI-MD
Midfielder
Balanced. Realistic predictions. The default.
AI-ST
Striker
Bold. High-scoring, unpredictable picks. Goals guaranteed (allegedly).
Fair play: after 3 consecutive fully-AI rounds, AI mode pauses. Submit your own
predictions for one round and it's automatically re-enabled.
